Los Altos' weekly service is on Sunday morning beginning at 10:30 a.m. A representative of the congregation will come forward prior to the service and welcome those for worship, share announcements and important information.
The format of the service is a combination of traditional and contemporary worship styles with the weight being given to the more traditional side. We do sing more music than in most traditional styles of worship. We also will add, from time to time, the use of drama and symbols into the service. The leadership for worship is a combination of ministers and members of the church. We are intentional about the inclusion of all ages of people. We want to be intergenerational in how we include people in leading worship.
The celebration of the Last Supper is practiced every week. This symbolic sharing of the meal comes at the conclusion of the service and is our way celebrating the church as the true body of Christ.
